What a difference a week makes......

This time last week it was snow, snow and more snow....

Now, wind, sunshine and some more wind, no excuse not to craft/create today!!!

This week I have been mainly making a surprise for a friend...

Any excuse to you some of the fab buttons I bought back in October from No 47, Tobermory

I've finished off my felted cuff that I was working on, trying to decide whether to make them commercially or not???

I started to play around with another crocheted cuff design...

I've also finished my jigsaw pieces for this piece of Craftism

I've been making some flower rings (soon to be added to my Folksy site)

And I've booked a holiday to our little piece of Paradise

It's been a busy week riding the wild donkey!!!

Drawing Class....

One of my 100 things to do in 2013 was to

Take a Drawing Class.

I haven't done any observed drawing for eons, possibly college in 1997, where I could produce stuff such as this:

Or School where I could do this....

So off I trotted to a drawing class, not nervous, but definitely apprehensive...what if I can't do it anymore?

It seems practise makes perfect

as now all I can produce is this:

Back to the drawing board for me I think......

Riding a Wild Donkey

For ages now, I've been procrastinating and getting easily distracted ....this is the story of my life, but for 2013 I have decided to adopt the Riding of the Wild Donkey technique.

I knew that I needed to get my Folksy site up and running, I'd taken the photos of the things for sale, played around with the images......drank many cups of tea and spent hours on the interweb doing nothing in particular...anything, but actually doing the damn thing.

So, I wrote in my new diary at date and time that I was going to do it..no ifs or buts..that was when I had to do it.

And surprise, surprise..it worked.

Maybe I'm someone who works to deadlines and strict timetables after all???
